* Walk Deviations - Visiting Places near the Main Route

The walk as presented, is also a pointer to places that can be visited which may be slightly to one side of the main route. The Hunting Lodge and Copped Hall fall into this category; they are of historical interest and as such, a visit is recommended. Public Houses? The opening times of the "King's Oak" public house at High Beach should be checked before visiting. The popular "Duke of Wellington" public house may now be closed, awaiting a new owner.
